Wedding Wednesday: Why We Include an Album

Most of our packages include BOTH a digital gallery AND a custom wedding album. You read that correctly. A custom wedding album full of your favorite memories for you to hold and share and display on your coffee table.

We really think this is the best - and most important part of working with 621 Studios.  It also gives the BIGGEST value to you, the sweet lovebirds that invite us in to document your wedding Lovetale.

Why? A photographers job does not end once they’ve snapped your pictures. You hire a photographer, an artist, because you need a service that only a professional can provide. And it’s not cheap! A photographer who asks you to pay them and dips out after your photos have been taken has not really delivered the full value of what you’ve paid for. Any professional you hire should be doing everything they can to alleviate stress and inconvenience in your life!

Digital albums are great and fun to look at, but everyone wants to hold their wedding pictures in their hands. To pass them to their loved ones at Christmas time. To hang them on the wall. But here’s the thing: have you ever created anything in Shutterfly? Or sat at that little photo kiosk in CVS? It sucks. It takes forever, something always goes wrong, and by the time you finally get your photo album, the prints are blurry and the thing falls apart within a few months. It’s extremely frustrating. As a professional wedding photographer, I don’t want you to experience ANY stress associated with your special day.

Professional photographers have access to resources that the average person probably doesn’t. Professional photo labs, design tools, a world of creative and functional toys at their fingertips which allow us to provide better products than the CVS print kiosk. And when we do it, you don’t have to. That’s the best part. One thing off your plate. You know what you can do with that extra time and brain space? Extended Honeymoon!!!

You wouldn’t be happy if you hired a painter who dropped some brushes and paint buckets on your porch and told you to finish the job. Or an electrician who rewired your house but didn’t connect your power. So don’t accept a photographer who delivers your digital album and expects you to take on the hassle of printing.

If you’re looking for a photographer who is already thinking about your memories ten, twenty, fifty years from now, give 621 Studios a call!
